GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Bar

 

Under the supervision of a faculty member, the incumbent will tutor and instruct, grade mid-terms, final exams, and other assignments for the following Computer Science and Engineering classes:

 

CSCI 201

CSCI 202

CSCI 292

CSCI 310

CSCI 350

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bar

 

·          Currently enrolled as a student at CSUSB

·          Must have completed the course or equivalent with a 3.0 or better.

·          Must be able to work cooperatively with faculty, staff and other students and to accept responsibility.

 

Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

 

TIMEBASE OR HOURS OF APPOINTMENT

Bar

 

5 - 20 hours per week depending on the course. Campus policy limits total hours per student to 20 hours per week in total.

 

HIRING CRITERIA

The successful applicant will be academically eligible, will have passed the course or  similar programming course, and will demonstrate an ability to be cooperative and responsible during the interview process.
