FAM 010

Relatives * of employees may be employed by the College with the following restrictions.

A person may not serve as judge or advocate in any situation involving a relative. Such situations include but are not limited to:

1.	No person may supervise a relative.
2.	No person may have fiscal responsibility for a relative.
3.	No person may enter into any part of the hiring, retention, promotion, or tenure discussions of a relative.
4.	No person may participate in the judgment of any awards, grants, or recommendations for leaves, awards, etc, where a relative is involved.

   *  Relatives are defined as: parents and children, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters.
